This week we announced that Tom Breitling, entrepreneur and author of “Double or Nothing,” will deliver the keynote at our annual Lawyernomics conference in Vegas. The conference will be held April 20 – 22, 2017 at the luxurious Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas.
Breitling will discuss the art and science of placing bets to grow a business. He was a co-founder of Travelscape.com, a pioneer in the online travel space that was acquired by Expedia, and was the first to bring regulated real-money online poker to the United States with a later company, Ultimate Gaming. Breitling previously owned the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas, where his unique business style was featured in the FOX TV reality show, “The Casino”.
Breitling will join Avvo founder and CEO Mark Britton, who will speak about standing out to potential customers in a market of unprecedented choice – and why calculated risks matter more than ever.
“Today’s lawyer is challenged with knowing not just the law, but how to run a business in a rapidly changing consumer environment,” Britton said. “Fortunately, now more than ever, people expect to find the right lawyer to meet their needs with a few keystrokes. Lawyernomics 2017 provides attorneys with actionable insights to help them make smart, bold choices and grow their businesses.”
Attendees can expect educational sessions on legal marketing and business including content, social media and demonstrations of the latest Avvo products for lawyers. The conference also will bring lawyers fresh insights about the legal consumer through original research by Dr. Nika Kabiri, Director of Strategic Insights at Avvo.
The conference will provide several onsite resources that help attendees grow their practice, including website audits, professional headshots, Avvo profile optimization and device trouble-shooting. Attendees will have the opportunity to party and network, including a poolside Welcome Reception co-sponsored by Crisp Video Group, and a networking event at the Bellagio’s Hyde nightclub.
Lawyernomics 2017 is expected to sell out for the fourth year in a row. Visit our conference page to learn more and register and check out the fun from last year!
